A devoted elementary Catholic School teacher was born August 13, 1982 residing in Dayton, Texas until successfully graduating from Dayton High School, I was on my succeeded journey to Lamar University in the fall of 2000.
While attending Lamar University as a full time student, I became a full time employee at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School. Starting as a substitute teacher, I then became Library Manager for three years. Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School is my Home of occupation and I am now Assistant Principal & Second grade classroom teacher who is honored to have the privilege of dedicating eight years of my life to a fantastic school. During my eight years of employment I have served on the 2008 Accreditation Team, First Holy Communion Teacher, 2007-2008 Outstanding Teacher of the Year, and a member of Who’s Who Among American Educator’s and Executive Women in 2007. I am currently completing my Master’s Degree in Education at Grand Canyon University in Phoenix Arizona.
Graduating from Lamar University, becoming a Catholic School Teacher and having the opportunity to make a positive influence in the life of a child are the accomplishments that I am most proud of. In the future, my dreams are to complete my Master’s Degree in education at Lamar University and becoming principal at Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School.
