Mary Gloude

I was born in Beaumont, Texas. I have always learned to love God and neighbor from my early childhood. After my enjoyable years in high school, I took classes for a degree in Child Care & Development at Lamar University, Beaumont, Texas.

I began my teaching career as a pre-school teacher at Highland Avenue Baptist Child Care in 1986. My teaching experiences also expanded to the Cathedral School & Day Care Center, and the Lamar Early Childhood & Development Center. Before I moved to Our Mother of Mercy School, I taught at all levels of the pre-school class with the Beaumont ISD. I was a substitute teacher for the K-12 class and also spent two years with Suspension class at Odom Academy.

My love and desire to help the young has been my greatest source of encouragement and with God’s help. I hope to continue doing my very best in my teaching career.
