I attended Our Mother of Mercy Catholic School and graduated from Rayne High School in Rayne, Louisiana. I received a Certificate Office Procedures from Chenier Business School, Beaumont, Texas. I also continued my education at Lamar Institute of Technology in Office Technology.

I am a member of Our Mother of Mercy Catholic Church along with my husband Francis; and our two beautiful daughters. One of who attend Our Mother of Mercy School; and the other whom attends the University of Huston-Tillotson.
